Beer And uh... yeah, no running...

So... it's been a heavy downpour all day.  Feck.  I'll run in a rainshower, but not a storm lol.

Beer tonight is a Jolly Pumpkin Noel de Calabaza.  Pours an amber/brown out of the bottle.  Big white head that sticks around.  Lacing is nice.  Lots of carb on the tongue.  Fruit and esters on the tongue. Mouthfeel is definitely peppy with all the carbonation.  Overall a nifty beer, though something I'll probably have one of and that's it.

Rain

Well, sure looks like the weather guys called this one right.  Storm came through hard and heavy while I was at the movies.  Kept hearing this weird sound, which sounded like one of those Powerball machines.  Turns out it was hail...

Roads washed out in places, and I was seriously concerned I wouldn't make it home in spots.  I saw one car flooded out on Parkside Drive.

Sadly, the road near my home where they just put in a new drainage system is flooded over now as well.  Curious to see the runoff stream but no way am I going out to take a look at this point...  But hey, it'll blow over soon enough, right?
